Is it exams or is it a War?

When the exam season hits you hard, do you find yourself asking the same question? It sure seems like a battle the way everyone around you acts all of a sudden. It’s all hush-hush. No more outings. No more skipping classes or watching too much TV. For a month, all your friends seem to have disappeared right into their books!

It is like being in a pressure cooker! What do you do when your head is bursting with fear?

Stop, breathe and let it out.

Here are some ways to help you deal with all of it:

  • If your home environment is not the best, try doing your work at the library or a quiet park nearby. A peaceful and stress free zone helps a lot!
  • Plan and organize. Make a list of what you have to study. Try checking off topics one by one.
  • More of sleep to calm those frazzled nerves is extremely important! Don’t tire yourself out.
  • Take little breaks in between. Play a sport for an hour or go cycling. A short evening walk could also help!
  • Lastly, remember that you’re exams are not the most important thing out there. You can have bad grades and still be a kind-hearted person at the end of the day!
